The JAMIS Marketing Content Specialist will support the growth of the JAMIS Prime cloud ERP application through expert content development, strategic communications planning, and brand awareness. As Marketing Content Specialist, you’ll work directly with the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, and play a critical role in the growth and success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the marketing, creative & design consultants, customer success, and product management teams to ideate and define content goals
- Assist in the development of creative and technical content including case studies, press releases, customer success stories, blogs, white papers, brochures, web content, and more
- Market research to identify industry trends and develop content strategies that effectively reach our desired target audience
- Highly creative, detail-oriented professional with excellent storytelling skills
- Develop brand awareness and product positioning within our target market
- Direct public relations and media initiatives internally and/or with an agency
- Work with HubSpot and WordPress to deliver and manage content
- Ability to track performance and effectiveness of marketing initiatives using Google Analytics, Hubspot, and PRWeb
- Live event and industry tradeshow support (some travel will be necessary)
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Business Administration
- Extensive content experience, both online and offline
- Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO and PPC
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation and willingness to dive into the details of the process
- Must be able to communicate and present clearly and confidently to C-level executives
- Understanding and articulating complex technology concepts and their relationship to the audience’s needs and concerns
- Enthusiasm for challenges and strong work ethic
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Work independently with honesty and integrity
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Pardot, or Marketo
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
