John Spirig is Vice President of the JAMIS HCM Division for JAMIS Software Corporation, where he is responsible for the direction and continuing enhancement, support and implementation of JAMIS HCM products for human resource management. He has been an HRIS professional for more than 30 years, and has led HR and payroll systems development and implementation projects for major organizations in a cross-section of industries.
He has held key management positions with some of the nation's largest and most widely respected HRIS firms. A co-founder and principal of Implementation Support Associates in 1984, he became Vice President, Professional Services/Technical Consulting at Information Science Inc. when InSci acquired ISA in 1989. In 1991 he joined JAMIS HCM, the nation's leading provider of ORACLE-based HRIS software.
Widely published as an author on HRIS topics, he has also been a presenter at national conferences of organizations including HRSP, the AMA, and Lakewood's "Best of America" conference. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
