In today’s spotlight, we focus on JAMIS Prime Customer, SC&A. Founded in 1981, SC&A offers energy and environmental consulting to federal, state, and local government agencies and the private sector. Their expertise includes radiological and nuclear safety and security, climate adaptation, air quality, and emergency management and preparedness. The name SC&A is derived from the name of company chairman Sanford Cohen (SC) and his associates (A).
SC&A has managed several contracts for agencies of the U.S. government, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Council on Environmental Quality, Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, Department of Energy, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Other clients include large businesses such as Boeing and General Electric.
