IRS deadlines for the 2023 tax year are as follows:
- 1095-B & 1095-C: Furnish Individual Statements – Friday, March 1, 2024
- 1094-C & 1095-C: Paper Filing – Thursday, February 28, 2024
- 1094-C & 1095-C: Electronic Filing – Monday, April 1, 2024
As a reminder, the IRS has issued new regulations for the electronic filing requirements for 2023 Forms 1094-C and 1095-C:
Reduced electronic filing threshold. Beginning with the 2023 tax year (2024 filing year), taxpayers who file 10 or more information returns in aggregate must file electronically. The reduced threshold applies to ACA returns.
