JAMIS Software is a privately held technology company that provides government contractors and project-focused organizations with fully integrated, easy-to-use ERP solutions tailored for GovCon businesses. With rapid growth in our flagship product, JAMIS Prime, we are expanding our team and seeking talented professionals with GovCon ERP experience to support our growing Advisory Services practice.
We are currently seeking an Advisory Services Consultant to join our team. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with existing customers to assess their current use of JAMIS Prime, recommend best practices, and guide strategic configuration improvements that enhance system performance and business outcomes.
While candidates near Fort Lauderdale, FL, San Diego, CA, or McLean, VA are preferred, this role is open to qualified candidates regardless of location.

Responsibilities:
- Configuration Review & Optimization:
- Collaborate with customers to assess and evaluate current system configurations.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to implement agreed-upon changes.
- Ensure all configuration updates, timelines, and resource requirements are clearly documented, approved, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Process Evaluation & Best Practice Alignment:
- Work closely with clients to understand existing business processes and define operational goals.
- Recommend and implement best practice improvements to streamline workflows and maximize ERP value.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure engagement throughout the project.
- Consultation on Configuration Enhancements:
- Provide expert guidance on customer-requested configuration changes, including the implementation of additional ERP modules.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with configuration changes.
- Escalate complex or high-impact issues to internal leadership when appropriate.
- Quality Assurance & Project Oversight:
- Establish and enforce quality assurance standards to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Conduct regular reviews of project performance, measuring outcomes against predefined goals and client expectations.
- Ensure all deliverables meet functional, technical, and business requirements.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Serve as a trusted partner to client stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights that support client success and long-term system value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Government Contracting Finance or Non-Profit Finance, with a strong understanding of industry-specific compliance and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at varying stages, while effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in consulting on enterprise software solutions, particularly within ERP or financial systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both client teams and senior leadership, including C-level executives.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check.
