JAMIS Software Corporation, a leader in project ERP software for government contractors and other project-based organizations, today announced the release of JAMIS Prime 6.3. This new release further cements JAMIS’ role as an industry disruptor as they continue to provide innovations to help customers navigate the challenging world of federal contracting.
One of the key initiatives in this product upgrade was to introduce parallel processing for large data loads and for unmatched scalability and performance for even the largest clients. With cloud-based enterprise applications, where system users are accessing vast amounts of data over the web, system performance is of the utmost importance for the best possible user experience. The JAMIS development team enhanced system architecture, designed scalability improvements, and even introduced high-performance parallel processing. So not only is Prime built on the most technologically advanced platform in the ERP marketplace but it also now delivers world-class scalable capability with the introduction of its parallel processing engine. “As we continue our application performance initiative, Prime 6.3 brings remarkable reductions in processing time for Billing and Revenue, Job Cost Adjustments, Reporting, and other areas.,” said JAMIS Software’s Vice President of Professional Services & Product Delivery, Chris Droz.
JAMIS is seeing results from early adopter customers of JAMIS Prime 6.3 such as Scientech, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. “The new performance enhancement reduced the time needed to recognize revenue by 97%,” said Jeremy Klein, Financial Analyst. JAMIS customers of all sizes and complexities will be excited about the results.
Other major enhancements include new features and processes to make JAMIS Prime Subcontract Management the most feature-rich solution on the market. JAMIS’ Vice President of Product Marketing, Dave Sample details some of the new features, “With JAMIS Prime 6.3 we’ve taken subcontract process automation to a new level. Unlike other systems, JAMIS Prime allows our users to create subcontract POs and associated SLINs, assign sub recourse by name, capture both time and expenses, provide real-time validation on ceilings, route subcontractor T&E through workflows that can include both the prime and sub approvers, automatically create the cost and billing entries in an AP voucher, and relieve the outstanding Subcontract PO. Best of all, this can all be tracked real-time in both reports and dashboards which helps our clients reduce the unpleasant surprises typically found when using older batch-based systems.”
Additional highlights include major enhancements to Timekeeping and Labor Management. The JAMIS Product Delivery team spends a great deal of time ensuring we deliver a rich user experience to customers. JAMIS Prime 6.3 delivers numerous usability enhancements including a redesigned grid, simplified job selection, ability to add work instructions, mass timesheet imports, new accrual types, and much more!
To learn more about the powerful and exciting features included in Prime 6.3, JAMIS will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, December 12th at 2 pm EST to preview its latest release. Registration is open here.
