Introducing an all-new learning experience for JAMIS users
JAMIS Open University has been upgraded! The all-new JAMIS Education & Training, also known as JET, has officially been launched! In addition to a new domain (training.jamis.com) that aligns more with our collective mission, things will look very different. And information, videos, and documentation will be more accessible.
#1. Where will I find Product Release information?
You can find all updates and resources related to your JAMIS product releases in one centralized place.
This includes release notes for both the maintenance releases in your LMS along with the monthly product updates resources. With the launch of JET, we want to ensure you have one place to find all of the resources, help, and support you need for your product. JET is and will be that place.
#2. Where can I ask product-related questions or review FAQs?
As a Superadmin, the Help Center allows you to initiate conversations with the JAMIS Help Desk and to access the JAMIS main sources of information so that you can also self-help. In addition, you can access the Ideas Portal.
To access the Help Center, click on the messages icon in the action bar at the top of any platform page, and select one of the available options in the right panel that will open.
#3. Where will I find complete End-User training?
No matter your preferred method of training delivery, whether based on external activities, online learning, or in-person, instructor-led training (ILT), JET tracks it all.
Take the guesswork out of employee upskilling and reskilling with automated, personalized learning that adjusts on the fly to align your employees’ learning needs with your business needs. So, as your employees grow, so does your business.
#4. Training courses are now organized into SCORM packages
Many of our courses are organized into an interactive video called a SCORM package. These videos now have menus that allow you to easily re-watch various areas of content. In the past, you would have to restart the video and go through all the steps and recordings in order to re-watch anything. These new packages make it easier to not only get through the material, but also refer back to it if/when needed.
#5. A full library of on-demand courses are now available to you based on your learning needs, including role-based content.
When you login, you'll find pre-recorded Prime Core Courses that go into detail for each and every topic. In addition, the video content is now organized into chapters/bookmarks for you to easily find the subject matter you need. If you want to stop and return to a lesson later, you'll be able to resume the video right where you left off. Or, if you just need a refresher on one sub-topic, you'll be able to easily do that as well without rewatching an entire training session.
#6. Role-Based Learning
We realize role-based training is long overdue, and we're excited to finally start releasing these courses. You'll find a channel dedicated to Role-Based learning. For example, if you're in Accounts Payable, you'll be able to enroll in a course geared towards the configuration and processing activities affiliated with this role.
#7. Introducing Content Channels!
Keep yourself in the know! Follow a content channel so you can be sure to be notified when there's new training material available for you. Once you follow a channel, you can filter out just those channels that interest you. Further, you can also decide whether or not you're notified by selecting the notification settings.
#8. Contribute your own content!
Share your expertise! Some of you know Prime better than we do! Share your knowledge with us or even just with each other. You have the ability to share content for just yourself, your team, or even to a channel (pending moderation and approval of course). Our primary goal is to grow our knowledge base, and we'll get there faster (and better) with your help!
