General description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Application Support Specialist to join our JAMIS Prime Support Team. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our manufacturing clients by providing expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance on the JAMIS Prime ERP system. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and the Prime ERP system, as well as the ability to resolve escalated issues, assist with system configuration, and collaborate across departments to optimize the client experience. This position works closely with the Application Support Manager, Professional Services Team, and Development Team to address customer challenges, define solutions for product enhancements, and ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing ERP modules.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary contact for resolving technical issues related to manufacturing ERP modules, including production planning, inventory management, and job costing.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve system errors and process inefficiencies to minimize disruptions to customer operations.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of automation technologies, including barcoding and warehouse management systems, to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Customer Engagement: Assist clients with system configurations, customizations, and enhancements tailored to their manufacturing workflows.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including resolution steps, best practices, and FAQs, to enhance team knowledge and client self-service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, professional services, and product teams to address system bugs, implement updates, and deliver custom solutions.
- Data Management: Support data migration, integration, and reporting needs for manufacturing ERP modules.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for optimizing system functionality and client workflows.
- Escalation Management: Handle escalated issues effectively and ensure timely resolution by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Manage special projects as assigned, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with manufacturing ERP systems (JAMIS Prime ERP experience is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including inventory management, production planning, and job costing.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver innovative solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
