General Summary:
We are currently seeking a results-oriented, service-driven Project & Support Analyst to join our JAMIS Human Capital Management (HCM) Division. The Analyst is responsible for assisting project managers with the management of all aspects of client system implementations. This includes but is not limited to planning, estimating, organizing, and monitoring the execution of all project activities. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the JAMIS HCM system and business processes. This position works with the JAMIS HCM Professional Service Team and the JAMIS HCM Development Team to define solutions for report issues, enhancements, and provides technical expertise to the customers. This position is responsible for performing all duties in accordance with JAMIS Software’s policies and procedures.
This position reports to the JAMIS HCM Professional Services Manager and may be located either in one of our JAMIS offices or remotely.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in the following tasks to ensure the execution of each project phase:
- Project planning – Plan all phases of system implementations or projects, including but not limited to installation, training, conversions, and modifications.
- Project organization – Organize and schedule each task of the project from system installation to project sign-off.
- Monitoring – Monitor all aspects of the project, including periodic status reports, monthly project billing review with the Accounting Manager, and reconciliation of budgeted versus actual costs
- Application Development – as part of continuing product upgrades, new and improved.
- Provide support to clients – This will involve support for HRMS, Applicant Self Service (APSS), Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Prime integration, and report writing.
- Learn the workings of the Oracle Analytics Report Writer. Build client-customized reports, resolve report support issues, build/enhance subject areas, etc.
- Assist in sales demos – this may involve demoing HCM, self-service applications, and Reporting tools.
- Require demonstrating sound troubleshooting skills, creating and assigning tasks, and escalating issues to a documented resolution.
- Effectively manage and execute on additional special projects as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related degree, is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field.
- Experience in the software industry and high-tech sector is highly desirable.
- Must be able to define technical details, best practices, and procedures consistently and accurately.
- Expert in the use of Excel spreadsheets and Pivot tables, Windows software packages is a must.
- Strong attention to details and a solid analytic skill base.
- Excellent phone and email communication skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple, shifting priorities and a large volume of technical problem resolution.
- Be an independent high-level contributor who can function with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills and the ability to grasp and communicate complex concepts quickly and independently.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Must have a results-oriented work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a small team environment.
