JAMIS Software Corporation, the leading provider of world-class project ERP software for government contractors and other project-based organizations, announces their latest Prime client, Urban Institute. Urban, a nonprofit dedicated to elevating the debate on social and economic policy, recently completed a successful implementation of Prime ERP.
After running on the same accounting system, JAMIS Classic, for nearly 20 years, Urban required an updated ERP system. Given their successful run with the legacy product, JAMIS Prime naturally proved to be the best fit for Urban’s business needs.
“The Urban ERP Project team was well-organized, efficient and extremely attentive to detail throughout the entire ERP process, from requirements definition through vendor selection to initial operating capability. It was an exemplary implementation and Urban should be commended for their role in its success,” said Steve Brander, VP of Sales and Business Development, JAMIS Software Corporation.
Since selecting Prime as their ERP solution, Urban has undergone a successful implementation of the core Prime modules. The implementation project continues to be supported by all parts of the organization—Accounting, Finance, Contracts, HR, Communications, and Research— as Urban continues to roll out the new features available in Prime.
“The Urban team’s implementation was top notch. From day one, all the players took ownership of the system and prided themselves on perfecting their process” said Eric Marshall, Consultant, JAMIS Software Corporation. “I’m looking forward to witnessing Urban continue to grow and utilize the ever-evolving Prime system.”
