Position Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer who is passionate about building innovative, data-driven solutions and eager to contribute to one of the fastest-growing ERP systems in the industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, an appetite for learning, and experience or interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technologies to help shape the next generation of intelligent ERP capabilities.

This position is based at JAMIS Software Corporation in Florida and has opportunity to work both in an office and at home. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Technology.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support.
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET (C#) and MS SQL Server.
- Contribute to the integration of AI and machine learning technologies to enhance automation, predictive analytics, and user experience within JAMIS Prime ERP.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver new features and performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and continuous integration pipelines to ensure product quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide proactive input on design and architecture decisions.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for the quality and performance of assigned deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in software development, preferably with exposure to large-scale, web-based applications.
- Proficiency in .NET / C#, MS SQL Server, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, and working within an agile (SCRUM) development environment.
- Experience working in a distributed team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb new domain knowledge.
- Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiasm for challenges, innovation, and continuous improvement.
AI & Emerging Technology Experience (Preferred):
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI integration in enterprise or SaaS applications (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics, intelligent data extraction, or process automation).
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or APIs such as OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and their application to user experience or business insights.
- Experience leveraging AI tools or SDKs to build or enhance application features such as data classification, forecasting, or recommendations.
- Ability to design or consume RESTful APIs that integrate with AI services.
- Strong interest in exploring generative AI, workflow automation, and data-driven decision intelligence within ERP or business applications.
- Passion for innovation and emerging technologies, with a desire to contribute to JAMIS’s vision of building an AI-enabled ERP platform that transforms how government contractors and project-driven organizations operate.
