Fixed Assets and Government Property Management for Government Contractors

Posted by JAMIS Software on July 14, 2020

Utilizing a comprehensive and secure asset management system enables your business to execute their responsibilities in a reliable manner. With a proper asset management system, organizations have the ability to refer back to a record without sifting through spreadsheets or file cabinets.

In today’s business world, data accuracy and time efficiency are more important than ever. Companies are being required to move faster and continually streamline their operations. Organizations of all sizes need to rely on smart technology to survive.

In addition, government property management is one of the six systems covered by DoD’s Contractor Business Systems reviews that requires withholding of money from contractors if one or more of these systems are “disapproved.”  Of these six systems, the Accounting, Purchasing, and Estimating systems receive the most focus due to their complexity.  However, the DoD is increasing its attention and emphasis on contractor Government Property Management systems for contracts subject to DCMA administration and oversight for compliance with the requirements of FAR clause 52.245-1.

Take a look at an On-Demand webinar of JAMIS Prime ERP’s Fixed Assets and Government Property Tracking Suite.  The presentation covers the following areas: fixed assets, the seamless process of a purchase to an asset, depreciation calculations, government property tracking, and the integration with project accounting.  Watch Webinar Now >
